The spring fair is one of the most popular celebrations in Andalucia.
The event lasts a week and brings together a huge equestrian following to see this famous Horse Fair.
The history of the fair dates back to Alfonso X some 700 years ago where farmers would bring livestock to the fair mainly horses to sell. stand were also set up with local products such as local sherry and wine
Today the fair is a colourful event with ladies dressing in the traditional flamenco dresses dancing the typical sevillanas lots of festivity and dinking takes place in this much loved event.
